Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish

I feel like I haven't done Top Ten Tuesday in a while, but I really liked the theme for this week as I know a few people will be looking for ideas on what to read this winter and I have to admit, mine is a strange mixture of books. Just a quick one this week as I feel like these don't need much explaining, anyway, onto the books!

What are you planning on reading this winter?

  1. I enjoyed both The unbecoming of Mara Dyer and An Abundance of Katherines! I've never read a book by Annabel Pitcher, but I recently saw her Ketchup Clouds novel and that one seemed really interesting.

I still have to read Dash & Lily's Book of Dares and Let it Snow too, maybe I'll do that around Christmas. (maybe)

    Great list!

  2. I haven't read any of the books on your list, but it looks like a great list. I'm rethinking my Winter TBR list... I don't think there's a single Christmasy book on it! I might need to go back and add Let it Snow or My True Love Gave to Me! Here's my TTT. Happy reading!

  3. I should've put My True Love Gave to Me on my list; it looks good!

I didn't like The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer or Dash & Lily's Book of Dares. In fact, the latter was a DNF for me. I just couldn't get past the annoying characters.

Dash & Lily, Let It Snow and My True Love Gave To Me sound like the perfect winter staple, excited!! enjoy a good book and a cup of hot drink!

    1. I see what you mean about to kill a mockingbird! I never noticed it before though :P

  6. How did I not see this post? Are you hoarding posts that I'm unaware of? *looks around*

We're heading into summer here, ohhhh, already I'm praying for winter. The heat is horrid in Australia, like spending three months in a hot, arid clothes dryer. I loved Dash & Lily, it made me fall in love with adventure contemporaries. Have you read anything else that's similar, would love a few recommendations.

Brilliant post as always Becksta <3

  7. Oh god no I'm definitely not a post hoarder! I've been so busy working on a bookish gift guide I've barely wrote!

I know that David leviathan has wrote a few similar to it with Rachel Cohn I believe one is called nick and Norah's infinite playlist but don't quote me on that! And I hate summer! So glad it's winter here even though our summer is probably as warm as Australia's winter :P and aw thank you! <3
