What does 2015 bring?

12:30 AM

I know you are probably going to think this is a pretty boring post but I felt like this had to be said rather than me just jumping about and making changes without any notice whatsoever! So with the new year coming up, I want to make a few changes.

Firstly, I want to carry on with my organisation in my university work, I've been working so hard to keep weeks ahead in my work and to make sure I do the work to the best of my ability, I want this to continue.

Secondly, I want to bring my organisation over into my blog, I want to write post regularly and schedule them so you guys have something to read, I want to plan out my posts better and try and get some original ones in there.

Furthermore, I want to write more about what I love, I never intended this blog to just be about books, I wanted to write about everything I love; games, beauty, psychology and that is exactly what I am going to try and do next year, there will be a mixture of things and hopefully you guys will enjoy that! (And for those of you that have said you really love my serial killer Sunday, it is coming back!)

I also want to make more of an effort to comment on and keep up to date with blogs because this is something I am really rubbish at! I will set aside a day where I will interact and read and actually get off my butt and put some effort in!

I've also decided to make 2015 the year of doing what I need to do, I've been making sure that I eat better this year but now I have bought an exercise bike I am going to exercise more and also bought a pmd to help with my scars, I will document this and do a review if enough people want to know!

Finally, if you haven't noticed already, I decided to start 2015 with a domain name! I feel so professional and feel like I am really taking my blog seriously, I am so incredibly excited for this.

Hope you all had a really great Christmas and a happy new year <3

  1. Happy new year, Becky! I'm really looking forward to all the different posts you're going to be putting up here, they sound really interesting! Good luck with your personal life choices - I should also eat better and exercise more. So maybe that's my resolution? :)

    2. I like the exercise bike because it allows me to sit hahahaha. I take 30-minute walks on the treadmill. I've been thinking about getting an audiobook for that, instead of music. Sure thing! Send me a message when you need some motivation :D

  2. Happy new year Becks! <3

I need to use this post as motivation myself, especially the healthy eating and exercise. I eat pretty well, but need a more balanced diet and to cut out junk, especially on the weekends. I find that as I'm getting older, by the end of winter, my fitness goes downhill and I'm far more tired than usual as well.

As for blogging, I need to catch up and write reviews shortly after finishing a book. Towards the latter of 2014, I was letting my reviews build up and still catching up even now.

What's a PMD? I hope it works and looking forward to seeing your progress. You'll have to keep us all updated, especially since I'll be using you as motivation now too :D

    1. Happy New year to you too Kelly! <3

I've been using so many youtube videos and images as my motivation, I thought I looked quite slim in my family photo at new year and it made me want to keep to the lifestyle even more, it's definitely great when you see the results on yourself!

I still have a review to write so I know what you mean, it's a book I really want to talk about as well as it was one of my favourites this year, i'm such a slacker.

It stands for personal microdermabraision, i've had it done professionally and really liked it and saw the benefits after one go, but at £45 a time I thought it made more sense to invest in the home tool, especially because I know my skin can handle it! It sounds gross but it essentially takes off a layer of skin, it doesnt hurt, it feels like a hoover sucking at your face slightly, it can reduce wrinkles, stretch marks, acne scars, enlarged pores and I used to have acne when I was younger but it's gone now, I'm left with a bit of scarring that I want to get rid of and that's why I purchased it!

Aw thank you so much! it feels nice to be someones motivation :D
